About Radiance OMT & Loree
My journey to becoming an orofacial myofunctional therapist started after I came across an online article from a fellow dental hygiene colleague Joy Moller who had gone on to practice as an orofacial myofunctional therapist for over thirty years. Together with my own interest in a holistic approach to healthcare I began my new journey and have joined a network of colleagues from around the world in an incredible emerging field of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT).
Over the last few years, my life and career have taken some interesting turns as I’ve ventured into an area of healthcare that’s not well known or recognized by most people, or even by the majority of healthcare professionals.
I soon came to learn that most dentists, pediatricians, orthodontists, and ENTs do not fully understand myofunctional therapy because most were simply never trained in this topic as part of their medical or dental education.
I believe in a whole-body approach that recognizes that the health of the mouth directly relates to the overall health of the body and to general well being.
I’m passionate about connecting with and creating a powerful network of parents, doctors, and healthcare providers who are interested in changing the status quo and making a difference in the lives of children & adults with oral and breathing health problems.
I opened Radiance OMT, my orofacial myofunctional therapy practice, and it has become a continuous passion for the past few years. Radiance OMT is based in the Vancouver but I can work with patients from all around the world, meeting via the internet.
My business now encompasses more than just my orofacial myofunctional therapy practice, also breathing education and other modalities to assist clients to recover to their optimal health. I’m also entrepreneur and advocate for the field of applied myofunctional sciences.
If you would like to learn more about myofunctional therapy and what I do, there’s a wealth of information I can provide for you to learn more and if you have questions or would like to contact me personally, I’d love to hear from you.
